Finding IP address in command prompt is really simple. Just two three steps are involved

Steps to find ip address of computer in command prompt

In Microsoft windows go to start and click on run
A small window will open
Type “command” in that
This will take you to a windows command prompt widow
In this command prompt window type “ipconfig” and press enter
You will get the following information on the screen:
- IP address of the computer
- Default gateway of the computer and
- Subnet mask assigned to the computer
- To close this command prompt window type exit
