I have recently taken a new connection for airtel digital TV, till date no engineer has come to install the same nor customer care is being supportive….I had to take a days off from work getting a day’s salary cut just to wait for the engineer to come and get the installation done, my son had also taken a day off from school, still no engineer….is this the type of service we get. Can someone please help and advice how do we get our money refunded if we have to deal with such irresponsible people…..
I am really surprising how AIRTEL DTH is cheating with customers. After Installation I was getting free Games now all games are suddenly Payee basis. What is the benifit to take AIRTEL DTH if in market other DTH services are far better then Airtel…..Hope less
It is very unfortunate to say that from 26 Mar to 29 Mar 11, I complained more than 20 times to rectify faulty connection of DTH to customer care. But till now no one service engineer reported at my residence.Cusstomer care on every telephonic call, they give the assurance today by 3.30pm your problem will be resolved. During this period neither I joined my duty nor I visited to outside of my quarter on the hope that service engineer will come to repair the same. Please let me know, how this will be solved.It is also requested to take necessary action against the defaulter.
If you are planning to buy an Airtel digital TV connection, please DO NOT go ahead due to a world beating pathetic customer service.
If you have experienced bad customer service, multiply it by 20 and you wil get airtel digital service .The reason for this above equation are
1. You will never be able to connect with customer care ( 18001028080 0r 12150)
2. In case you wish to be connected just keep on trying and maybe one fine day the call will get connected ( please expect atleast a 10-15 min hold time while getting connected.
3.The customer service has no clue on how the issue needs to be resolved.
so basically all the effort till now is wasted.
4. If you wish to be coonected to a superior, you will be offered that oppurtunity if you keep on hold for next 15-20 min before the call is disconnected suddenly.( You can try the same process with almost similar results)
5.Sadly I have a six month advance payment ultra pack and need to live with it till september 11

I registered a complaint for Airtel Digital four days back but not a single person came to solve the complaint and more shockingly I got an sms that your complaint has been solved.It was the worst decision of my life to buy Airtel Digital Set Top Box.
It is difficult to get Customer care no. Airtel DTH. After repeated attempts, I could get connected on 6th April-11 and got the request no. as 6682285.Can I have the e-mail ID of customer care. I got my Airtel Disc de-installed on 31st March-11 at Kolkata as I am getting transferred to Faridabad from Kolkata. And the money is getting deducted when I am not using the DTH service till I get it re-installed by Airtel at my new address.
I expect Airtel to credit the amount so deducted (from my a/c) for the period of 31st March till the time (possibly 12th April-11) re-installation is done.
If above is not honoured by Airtel, I will not have any option but to surrender my DTH connection go to other provider.
Airtel is very prompt in giving reminder well in time for the lack of fund in the a/c and I am sure Airtel will be prompt in reversing the above amount for not using the service.

I have taken a new DVR connection for airtel digital TV in February’2011.
Till now we are unable to see HD picture quality. The customer care at Bhubaneswar, Orissa is not taking care. We have contacted 3 times. They could not adjust the picture quality. We have purchased Sony EX710 LED TV. In Sony show room the picture quality with the same DVR airtel connection is not same as the picture quality at our home. Kindly send an engineer, who can adjust the HD quality as soon as possible.

i have been trying to call airtel customer care for 2 days but it takes me through the ivr and leaves me nowhere. airtel is the worst. i regret installing airtel dth.
I’ve been trying to speak to customer care since morning but your server is down, your airtel digital tv customer care is very poor, I’m fed up with your services, yesterday I got my a/c recharged with Rs.300/- after sometime signal was loss, since than my airtel digital tv is down. AIRTEL customer care is hopeless. or i would say worst…. I have given three request to get my dish shifted from my ols house to new one. Till date it has not been shifted. When i try to call to the number which was given to me by the customer care. No one is picking the phone.
